Cell Phones and Pagers By the time traffic lights were invented, automobiles had already been around for some time. There were electric cars, Stanley Steamers and new-fangled internal combustion engines all intermingling with the old horses and buggies. It was utter bedlam. So when traffic lights finally came along they were actually welcomed. People were relieved that there were finally some rules. It will be nice when we establish some rules about cell phones and pagers, and how to control their use. But -- for now -- they are going to continue to ring at inopportune times and in inappropriate situations. Paul Frisbie will show you what you can do about it. |
